Richard Marston's resilient journey saw him overcome early abuse and embrace network marketing opportunities in the USA. Surviving a life-threatening event in 2012, he transformed his life through Total Life Changes and now empowers others, advocating health and beauty.

My Story

In both business and life, I began with humble origins, driven by an innate desire to succeed. Entrusted to my grandmother’s care at just 14 days old, her love nurtured me throughout my upbringing. However, at the age of 13, I endured a distressing experience of abuse, burdened with confusion and silence. For years, I carried this secret until I learned the power of forgiveness—a gift to myself rather than my abuser.

When I migrated to the USA in 1995, I never imagined owning my own business. Yet, a golden opportunity presented itself, opening countless doors. With some successes under my belt, I was introduced to the world of network marketing. As a newcomer, I earned a modest income and quickly understood the significance of timing and perseverance. Undeterred, I kept pushing forward, exploring different companies in the field.

Then, on April 21st, 2012, my world changed forever. An inexplicable event unfolded—gunshots to the head and three stabbings, a fight for life. Miraculously, it wasn't my time to leave this world. I came to realize that God had a profound purpose in store for me. Two years later, in 2014, a life-changing opportunity emerged through my cousin Dana Stannard. She offered me a fresh start by relocating to Tampa, Florida, despite my initial apprehension about change. Seeking guidance from my friend and mentor, Stormy Wellington, I received invaluable advice that not only encouraged my dreams of becoming a makeup artist but also led me to a transformative opportunity with Total Life Changes (TLC). 

On November 10th, 2014, I joined TLC, and eight days later, I began my new chapter in Tampa, Florida. I started selling tea on a bicycle, an unconventional beginning that eventually propelled me to success, even earning the humorous moniker "Dr. Poop." The journey brought unexpected blessings, as I not only achieved financial success but also regained my health, shedding over 50lbs. However, amidst success, there came a humbling lesson. I discovered that little triumphs can sometimes lead to complacency and that the climb back up can be even harder than before. So, with humility, I decided to start afresh when an opportunity presented itself in California. 

Relocating there, armed with wisdom and preparation, I picked up where I left off, more determined than ever. Managing a beauty bar and eventually expanding to another location in the mall, I continued my journey with the detox tea. Today, I am fully dedicated to helping people improve their health, assisting those seeking additional income opportunities, and empowering women by enhancing their beauty at the beauty bar.

As I continue to make a positive impact in the lives of others, I embrace the power of daily affirmations:
